I am proud to call Lino Lakes my home. Over the past 18 years Kim and I have raised our children here, while getting to know the residents, business owners, coaches and educators in Lino Lakes and our neighboring communities. I love this community, and I want to see it grow and thrive into the future.
We all have a purpose – strengths and passions that we want to share with the world. One of mine has always been to serve others. I believe that public service is the highest calling for our city leaders. City officials are elected by the residents to serve in the best interest of the residents, not their own personal agendas. In our community and our nation, politics has become a nasty business. I want to be your mayor because I believe in civil, respectful, transparent leadership. I am committed to leading, listening and shifting the focus back to the residents and our partnerships within our communities.
One of my initial objectives will be to restore productive, reverent communication with our residents, our charter commission and the leadership of the neighboring cities. There is a wealth of knowledge within these groups that should be leveraged for improving the quality of our community.
